| The French Bruneian Business Association was officially registered on 14th September 2000. Subsequently a branch office was set up in Kuala Belait on 8th November 2001. |

| About the French Bruneian business Association (FBBA) |
| It is designed to bring together people actively involved in trade and commerce between France and Brunei. The French Bruneian Business Association is a non profit association and aims to provide the following:- |

To provide a mutual forum for French and Bruneian business partners |

To disseminate economic information to members on matters of interests |
| • |
To develop the image of Brunei in France and vice versa to promote trade, commerce and industry. |

To develop business opportunities between Brunei and France. |

Any other objectives deemed beneficial by the Executive Committee. |

| Initially the Executive committee was elected on a yearly basis as of 2005 as per the constitution the Executive committee is elected on a two yearly basis. The Executive committee consists of high profile people from the business community and is well represented by the International Chambers of Commerce, the Malay Chambers of Commerce, the Chinese Chambers of Commerce and BIMP-EAGA economic business council |
